July 29, 2011 And what is the busy author working on this summer? Copy edits on AN AFFAIR WITH MR. KENNEDY almost off my plate. Some revision/edits on THE CARNAL SINS OF RAPHAEL due by Labor Day––then I go back to writing A VERY PRIVATE DUEL WITH MR. GUNN: Up in an airship with Finn as he pursues a beautiful, dangerous anarchist.

One day in 2011, I was spending an idle hour liking and friending and ran across this beast.  Yes, the one to the right smoking a Camel or is that a Gauloises? Who knew Facebook could be this interesting?
UPDATE: I'm happy to report, he has become a character in The Miss Education of Dr. Exeter. His name is Eden Phillpotts, proprietor of the Antiquarian Bookshop, 77 Charing Cross Road.

Cutter Coppersmith:
time thief, inventor of elemental ooze and hero in the making. Readers will meet him in the second episode of the Phaeton Black series The Miss Education of Doctor Exeter A brilliant young scientist and cruelly wounded warrior, Cutter wears a mechanical brace and walks with a slight, but perceptible limp. He uses a voice booster device to enhance his damaged vocal chords.

“Stone's taut mystery/romance sets the stage for her Gentlemen of Scotland Yard series. The sexy smart characters will appeal to modern readers as much as the suspense. Their repartee heats up the pages, promising a treat for readers."

April 3, 2012 Received this e-mail from Elisa Verna, assistant web editor at RT BOOK REVIEWS. I just wanted to let you know that The Seduction of Phaeton Black was nominated for our Seal of Excellence Award this month. Congratulations! RT editors loved the book! To find out who was nominated and who won, go here: RT Reviews

Phaeton Black nominated for RT Seal of Excellence
ComiCon 2011 Guillermo Del Toro on his reputation as a filmmaker: “I don’t think I’m a household name director. I think I’m an acquired taste. When I come here, it’s fantastic, but I don’t buy that illusion. I’m really a freak every place I go. I don’t quite fit in the independent scene, I don’t quite fit in the art scene, and I don’t fit in the Hollywood scene. I’m a weird, strange, fat motherf—er, and I plan to stay that way.”
October 8, 2012 “We never miss an episode of Parenthood as the Braverman's navigate the ins and outs of raising a family. And we never miss a Phaeton Black book. So it only makes sense that Joy Bryant would make appearances on both the TV show and on the cover of the newest Jillian Stone novel.”

A Dangerous Liaison with Detective Lewis:
Most erotic novel in the Phaeton Black series is set to release.
Tuesday, June 25, 2013 Very excited to announce the release of The Miss Education of Dr. Exeter, third in the Phaeton Black, Paranormal Investigator series. Those of you who are reading the series are well aware that book two ended on a cliffhanger––Phaeton lost in the alternate universe known as the Outremer.

Now it is up to Dr. Exeter and a small, but hardy band of Nightshades to find Phaeton and bring him back. Complicating matters is Mia, Exeter's beautiful ward, who has begun to transmogrify into a panther at the most inconvenient times. There is no cure for her condition, but there are techniques to alleviate the sexual urges and inappropriate behavior. Much to Exeter's dismay, it is up to him to help Mia through this difficult time of transition, and there is something about Paris in the fall, that brings out the devil in Dr. Exeter.

Codename: Dragon is set to release in early December, 2015.
Monday, November 22, 2014  Flynn Rhys is the quintessential Byronic hero, which means he's complicated, brooding, wildly unpredictable
and, yes, dangerous to love. And if you ask Flynn, he'll tell you that madness is his only legacy. In this new spin off series, the danger-loving agent is given an explicit directive from Special Branch: "Do whatever it takes."

"An arousing erotic romance wearing a skimpy steampunk dress…tension-filled sex scenes in a variety of unusual locations will satisfy readers who like to dog-ear the pages."
